One of the most basic devices on which budding artists and rap artists obtain start is the piano. From a really early age in life many professional artists remember learning how to play on their family piano whether they then stick with that musical instrument or not depends on them. The great advantage of the piano is that there are so many different kinds and ways in which people can learn, some use a duet piano bench in order to figure things out with an instructor sitting by their side yet others might want to go with a performer piano bench. What some people don’t understand is that it is not only people from the lighter side of music such as classical music, classic rock, and those types that learn the piano when they are young and in fact many hip hop artists also are aware of how to play the piano.
In the past few decades gangster rap has seen an incredible increase in reputation as it’s beats and urban themes have gone beyond the inner city and into the homes of most suburban areas. In fact, it is probably safe to say that hip hop is the most followed genre now, topping other popular types such as rock and pop. One of the earliest gangster rap performers to get hugely well-known in America was a man named Tupac Shakur. Tupac was from the Bronx in New York but went out to the West coast at a fairly young age and became a pioneer in the burgeoning genre. Actually, Tupac has sold over 75 million albums worldwide, making him one of the greatest selling musical hip hop artists of all time. However, regrettably, what most people know him for in this day and age is the feud with fellow artist Notorious BIG which claimed both of their lives in their mid- twenties.
Another household name of rap artist is Eminem, who is unique on this list due to his large following and also to his being the most famous artist ever who is white. Raised in a rough part of Detroit, Eminem became popular in the late 1990s after his debut album sold millions of copies across the country.
Seemingly in the past couple of years, a new era has been brought on in the rap music scene; rap artists who rap about assault and who try to rhyme about how they’re the hardest people around appear to be a dying breed and it seems they’re being replaced by more socially conscious rap artists who are thinking about creating social change where they see fit. Leading the pack in this new sort of rap performers is Kanye West, famous both for his socially conscious raps about things such as conflict diamonds in Sierra Leone. While interest in certain styles of music can fluctuate greatly within just a couple of years or a few decades it would appear that, for better or for worse, rap music is here to stay in the nation.
Hip hop music was first discovered in the seventies. To become one of the famous hip hop artists one should sing out well, possess the winning attitude, and even more importantly know how to dance. Becoming a one of the greates rap artists is not an easy career. It absolutely needs a large amount of work, confidence, and persistence.
