This nightmare scenario is something we dread, and hope to not encounter. It involves our favorite MP3 player, which contains our very personal playlist, water in the form of a puddle, rain, or moisture, and us discovering that the two have come into contact with one another, resulting in a disaster. A disaster that results in a wet and broken MP3 player.
Normally, this would mean the end of the MP3 player and the loss of all the songs inside. This is because most of the modern players today are so advanced and so sensitive that just the slightest amount of moisture or water will cause them to malfunction and be broken. Because of this, their popularity doesn’t matter to the people whose lifestyles often send them within close proximity to water, like hikers, park rangers, fishermen, swimmers, and athletes.
There is a solution to this problem however, and it comes in the form of the waterproof MP3 device, which first appeared a few years ago. The waterproof player may be considered a niche product, but over the years, the devices became more and more aesthetically and technologically equal to standard, more stylish players. Because of this, waterproof players have become more and more popular, even to those who are not actively around water, and just want to make sure they have a device that’s protected.
The waterproof player was developed because of the shortcomings caused by waterproof player cases. These cases were effective, but because the case needed to be opened at some point, the player was still at risk. And this risk isn’t something that park rangers, swimmers, hikers, and campers, will find acceptable.
These waterproof players can keep moisture out, and some can even be submerged deep underwater. All of this, however, comes at a price. For people looking to enjoy music while they splash around water, however, waterproof players are a must!
